There is a very serious problem in our Hospitals and that is the infections, which are happening and it is killing hundreds of thousands of people. We need a way to kill such bacteria to prevent all these hospital deaths. There is a way. How so you ask?

I propose using more UV high intensity light in hospitals. These UV lights should be incorporated into bedpans, bed legs, duct systems and on robotic silent running vacuums, such as the iRobot Romba system. As they travel around they would shine the UV light all around.

There are a number of ways to build duct systems to prevent viruses and bacteria from forming such as water filters, treated membranes, filters and UV light. I propose putting UV lights inside all hospital duct systems, as a requirement to help in this battle to kill dangerous bacteria in our Nations Hospitals.

Additionally I would like to see these UV lights mounted on the silent running vacuums that run around at night under furniture, medical equipment and around stands. By using this light to kill bacteria we will be savings millions each decade and then our hospitals can cure rather than kill. Think on this in 2006.
