Blocking Cell Phones Radio Frequency

Blocking Cell Phones at Critical Places

This article attempts to inform another innovative way to block radio frequency waves emitted by Cell Phones at Critical Locations.

Building owners and Facility Managers who often think that Cell Phones, to some extent are considered as a nuisance may found this piece of information useful . Places like Schools, Cinema Halls and other restricted facilities are trying innovative ways to keep the cell phones on silent mode or closed. However Jamming the signals is also currently being practiced at some high risk locations.

Natural Nano has developed a new kind of Paint which claims to absorb the RF Signals from Cell Phones and other devices.

The Technology

The paint mixture contains copper held inside microscopic nano-tubes of carbon to cover the interior of the walls. Copper absorbs radio-frequency waves including Cell Phones , Pagers and Wi-Fi signals.

An indoor antenna picks up the signal from Cell Phones or other devices and sends them to an external antenna through an electronic filter.

Two-Way Devices for Essential Communication

Using a complementary technology, building managers may selectively override the blocking to allow the use of two-way devices in a room or building.

Allowing Specific Frequencies

Building Owners can enable transmissions at specific frequencies for critical uses. Emergency Communications including Police, Fire etc., can be allowed to go through by a pre-defined set of frequencies.
