How to Breathe Health into Your Body Through Conscious Breathing

Author: George Lockett

A look at how the breath can be used to bring balance into area of our Body and Mind.

The Breath is very powerful it has been used for centuries by Yogis to create different effects on the body and mind.

Before we start to discuss the different techniques, which can be used to balance the body. Lets look at normal breathing. It is good from time to time to make sure that you are using the full capacity of our lungs when breathing.

Lets take a few deep breaths, breathing in through the nose with the mouth closed; if this is possible for you to do comfortably. It is important to breath deeply right down into the abdomen and then to fill the chest. It is also important to breath out fully using the diaphragm to empty your lungs fully, as unless you get most of the stale air out you cannot breath in fresh air.

Even using just normal breathing like this and staying conscious of the breath, as it enters and leaves the body, can be very powerful.

To effect healing in any area of the body, stay conscious of the breath, and take your awareness to the dis-eased area; spend a few minutes with your awareness in that area being conscious of the feelings and emotions, which come up. Keep being conscious of the breath as you breathe.

The breath uses Air, one of the five elements, to connect with your source energy. The source energy comes into your body through the breath. This is sometimes referred to as Prana. When you stay conscious of your breath while breathing you get control over this prana or life force, and can direct it using your awareness, to different parts of the body to bring healing and balance into that region.

Even spending a few minutes a day doing this type of conscious breathing can make major changes in the health of your body and mind.

When major events happen in your life it is quite often a good idea to take a few deep breaths before we choose how we would like to react to that situation. It gives us time to think and quiets the mind and connects us to source energy, so that our reaction is coming from love and from our heart.

George Lockett

I have been focusing on personal development for the last 32 years. This has involved the study of Yoga and Meditation and turning the attention in on itself.

This process has led me to some amazing realisations and understandings about who the person is within the body and how this personal awareness interacts with the Universal Mind of the Creator God.

About seven years ago I started practising as a Spiritual Healer. I find the connection that I make to the more subtle energies within myself helps with the effectiveness of my Healing work. I have practised in most parts of the UK, taking a stand at Mind, Body and Spirit Fairs around the country and internationally.

I found also that being aware at these subtle levels opens one's awareness to Spirit and allows the communication to take place between one's senses and those people in Spirit that may wish to communicate from the other side of the veil. These gifts allow me to work as a Medium in the Spiritualist Churches.

I am just releasing my own book describing this wonderful journey of self-realisation, called Journey into the Self A look at the multi-dimensional nature of being human by George E Lockett HealerGeorge.

BookSurge, a Division of Amazon, is publishing this. The book describes a number of events in my life that could be regarded as Paranormal Experiences.

More recently I have joined the Humanity's Team, an organisation founded by Neale Donald Walsch, who wrote the "Conversations with God" series of books.

Humanity's Team is leading the way to this New Spirituality which is developing on the planet at this time as we change our underlying beliefs about Life and God and start to realise our own true nature.
